Mysterious Runaway Toyota Crashes Not Just Due to Floor Mats
Five fatal crash in the U.S. over the last two years involving runaway Toyota and Lexus vehicles, along with hundreds of incidents of sudden acceleration, have been reported to Toyota or the federal government. Toyota has blamed the incidents on improperly installed floor mats, but ignition, transmission and braking systems may also be to blame.
